Speciality coffee, made with care in Bradford.

Octa is an independent speciality coffee shop at 1470 Leeds Road, Bradford BD3 7AA. We choose coffee with character and make every cup so its origin, flavour and season come through clearly, with fresh bakes and sandwiches alongside.

Our story

Octa takes its name from the octahedron, a shape of balance, stability and clean geometry.

That idea guides how we source, roast and serve coffee. Every drink on the bar, from a straight espresso to a signature latte, is built to be balanced: nothing hiding the coffee, nothing shouting over it.

We are independent and on Leeds Road for the neighbourhood, open early for the commute and late for the evening, seven days a week.

How we make it

Great coffee is a balanced equation built from four variables.

Bean origin

Traceable seasonal speciality coffee lots selected for clarity, sweetness and character.

Roasting curves

A considered roast profile for every coffee, designed to develop its natural flavour without masking origin.

Water chemistry

Mineral balance tuned to support sweetness, texture and clarity in every brewed coffee.

Extraction physics

Dose, grind, temperature, pressure and time controlled for repeatable espresso and filter coffee.
